About
atelierJJX is a multidisciplinary design studio led by Julie Jira in Toronto. Her creative practice lives at the intersection of sculptural design, spatial art, and architectural form—resisting easy categorization while shaping environments, objects, and experiences.
Founded during Julie’s early years of motherhood, atelierJJX began as a personal space for intuitive creation, sensory exploration, and material transformation. Drawing from her architectural background, she brings a globally informed, iterative design process rooted in experimentation and guided by a deep curiosity for emerging technologies and unfamiliar terrain.
The studio’s work ranges from wearable sculptures and functional objects to site-specific spatial design, with each project driven by form, feeling, and material innovation.
Commissions and collaboration inquiries are always welcome.
